Noel Latore is a Nurse Practitioner with 20 years’ experience in women’s health. She has found success counseling women on the importance of diet and lifestyle as a way to gain optimal wellness and to improve basic and more complicated gynecological issues. She continues to update her knowledge by attending conferences and doing research in the areas of nutrition, functional medicine and women’s health.
Noel earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College of Nursing in 1996 with summa cum laude distinction. She began her career as an RN in Medical Surgical nursing and then transitioned to working in Labor and Delivery at Saint Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick NJ. In 1999, she completed a Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Pennsylvania with a specialty in Perinatology. Noel worked at various hospitals in Manhattan including Lenox Hill Hospital, NYU Medical Center and St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, where she worked in labor and delivery, and helped run a high-risk obstetrical clinic and an antenatal testing center. Noel returned to New Jersey and Saint Peters University Hospital where she worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Women’s and Children’s division of the Hospital. She then transitioned to direct patient care as a Nurse Practitioner in the Women’s Ambulatory Clinic, High-Risk Obstetrical clinic and Maternal Fetal Medicine. In 2008, Noel joined A Woman’s Place, a private practice in Monmouth county caring for women in all aspects of women’s health. She continued learning about women’s health and began a journey into the area of functional medicine.
In her free time, Noel enjoys challenging herself athletically (she completed a marathon and two half Ironman triathlons), and loves watching her two sons compete in various sports. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, yoga, and taking her dog for hikes in the woods.
